To mark the Club’s 25th anniversary, our Silver Jubilee, a very special event was held at the Victory Sports Ground on Sunday 25th March, which revolved around two exhibition matches:

‘Ipswich Legends’
The Ipswich Legends team was captained by our friend John Wark, who was joined by super blues heroes: Jason Dozzell, Russell Osman, Fabian Wilnis, Simon Milton, Gavin Johnson and James Scowcroft, amongst others.
The event was a celebration for members, and their friends and family, and it was also open to the general public who shared in our wonderful day. Over 700 people attended. Other principal elements of the event were a great prize auction, which was an opportunity to bid for and win some fantastic items that had been gifted to the Club – see the Great Prize List. There are a few prizes that didn’t meet their reserve price, so if you’re interested in a direct sale of these, contact us.
Other attractions included a licensed bar, hot and cold food, teas and coffees, home-made cake stall and a tuck shop – there was plenty of choice for re-fuelling on the day. Fun football stalls were also available to try your hand at (or should we say foot). These were playful exercises to challenge the skills and agility of all ages. Each youth team designed, built and ran a stall.
