Sporting 87 Educational Trust is a charity that delivers and supports various services, programmes and events in the local community. Its activities are categorised under four modes of provision: schools support, holiday clubs, personal development centre (PDC) and community football. Click on the links below to find out more.

PDC

Structured Training Programme (ages 7 to 14)
  A unique holistic approach to youth football
  development. Designed to complement Club
  training and matches. Open to all players keen
  to improve their technical ability, psychological
  understanding and knowledge of the game.
Personal Improvement Programmes (ages 7 to 14)
  Focus on the individual, either through
  one-on-one coaching or within very small groups.
Young Leaders Programme (ages 12 to 18)
   Opportunities to develop broad life and leadership
  skills, along a pathway to becoming a coach or
  other valued grassroots football volunteer.
Coaches Education Programme
  Management and support of the learning
  development of the voluntary workforce
  of our associated Football Club.
Volunteers Education Programme 
  Management and support of the learning
  development of coaches of our associated
  Football Club.

Community football

Tots footy (ages 3 1/2 to 6)
  For their first discovery and joy of the game.
  FUNdamentals based play and practice.
– Ladies futsal (girls & women 14+)
  Building community through playing
  fun football and social interaction.
Fellowship futsal (adults, men 16+)
  Building community through playing
  fun football and social interaction.
Kickabout (ages 14 to 17)
  Relaxed, informal and fun Trust and
  FA programmes (Mash Ups, etc.)
Junior youth World Cup (ages 7 to 11)
  FREE children’s event. Fun competition
  with a sportsmanship theme.
Summer Continuity footy (ages 6 to 14)
  Summer football fun that replaces regular Club
  evening training and weekend matches.
